Our brief was to convey the message: “Science can save our songbirds.” We designed an engaging “Tree of Knowledge” with removable birds, each featuring fascinating scientific facts on the reverse side. To create an inviting atmosphere, we played soothing bird songs throughout the exhibition space, enticing donors to explore our stall.
The stand featured a three-wall display highlighting endangered birds on the red list and presenting the innovative solution of beetle banks, which divide farmer fields to create feeding spaces for these birds. I thoroughly enjoyed illustrating the beauty of the UK countryside for this project.
As an incentive for sign-ups, we offered a custom notebook filled with poems and bird-feeding tips, interspersed throughout the pages. Special thanks to Fran Boardman and Duncan Gray for their collaboration!
